MDRS is the largest state agency committed solely to helping people with disabilities achieve independence through employment.

Services may include vocational evaluation, counseling and guidance, educational assistance, job training, job placement, and assistive technology.

At MDRS, we are dedicated to meeting the employment goals of our consumers. Cultural competence training covers three key areas: attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The goals of this training are to: The Regional Oral Health Consultants (ROHCs) and staff of the Mississippi State Department of Health Office of Oral Health are licensed trainers in cultural competency in the state of Mississippi.
